The board has proposed two rule amendments dealing with electrologists, laser hair practitioners, and schools.

• The amendment in 21 NCAC 06U .0101 would increase the late fee for renewals of electrology, laser hair practice, and school licenses from $50 to $100.
• The amendment to 21 NCAC 06U .0105 would modify the criteria for temporary licenses for electrology applicants. The amendment would also make it easier to get temporary permits and specify the information the board needs in a temporary-permit request. Finally, the amendment makes technical changes.
