The board has proposed increasing or establishing various civil penalties to improve the board's ability to prevent unlawful practice of barbering, electrolysis, and laser hair practice. The board proposes to amend 21 NCAC 06O .0101-.0104, .0118, and .0121. The board also is proposing a new rule, 21 NCAC 06O .0202.
